Xplorers (Using "Godly Play")
We are the Sunday morning group of 7-11 year olds. We meet to talk about Jesus and do lots of other fun things. Our leaders tell us a story from the bible then we talk about it with each other. When we have talked about it a little bit we go off, sometimes on our own, sometimes in a 2s or 3s and we can play however we want, to explore the story a bit more.
Sometimes we just draw pictures other times we might make a film, or a model. There are plenty of options for us. Before we leave we all come and have drinks and biscuits together and tell each other what we have done, but also what we have been doing since we were last with Xplorers. This is our chance to pray about anything we have on our minds, and a good time to thank God for all the good things that He gives us.
